1. Who we are

SingleStack LLC (“SingleStack,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates and publishes under the Robbie Poe name through:

Together, these are called the “Services.”

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the Services, how we use and disclose it, and the choices available to you.

This policy covers the public website, publication, newsletter, and initial inquiries. Separate signed agreements and engagement-specific privacy or confidentiality terms may apply if you become a client. Those documents control information collected specifically for that engagement.

Do not send Social Security numbers, financial-account credentials, complete tax returns, estate documents, medical records, payment-card numbers, passwords, or similarly sensitive information through comments, ordinary email, or the public contact form.

2. How Substack fits into this policy

Our publication is hosted and distributed through Substack.

Substack processes certain information for its own platform purposes under the Substack Privacy Policy. Use of its platform is also governed by the Substack Terms of Use.

When Substack processes subscriber information on our behalf, SingleStack controls the subscriber list and determines how that information is used for the publication. This policy governs our use of information received through Substack. It does not replace Substack’s policies or describe every way Substack processes information for its own purposes.

3. Information we collect

A website or other link you provide
The contents of your message
Any other information you voluntarily include

Please provide only the information reasonably needed for us to understand and respond to your inquiry.

Publication and subscriber information

When you subscribe to or interact with the Substack publication, we may receive:

Your name, display name, and email address
Your subscription status
Your subscription date and source
Newsletter and notification preferences
Email opens, post views, link activity, and other engagement information
Comments, replies, survey answers, and other communications
General location information, such as country
Information associated with referrals or recommendations

The publication is currently free. We do not collect payment-card information for publication subscriptions.

Comments and other public activity may be visible to other people.

Information collected automatically

When you access the Services, SingleStack, Carrd, Substack, and their infrastructure providers may automatically process:

Browser, device, and operating-system information
Approximate location derived from an IP address
Pages viewed and links used
Referring pages or websites
Dates and times of visits
Cookie, session, and similar technical identifiers
Information used to maintain security, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and operate the Services

Robbiepoe.com is hosted through Carrd and uses Carrd’s contact-form functionality. It does not currently use a separate publisher-selected analytics provider or advertising pixel. Google provides web fonts used by the site and may receive technical request information when those fonts load.

Substack separately uses cookies, engagement measurement, analytics, security, and infrastructure tools under its own Privacy Policy. We have not enabled separate publisher-selected advertising pixels or third-party behavioral-advertising tools on the publication.

4. How we use information

We may use personal information to:

Deliver articles and publication emails
Create and administer subscriber records
Respond to questions and inquiries
Evaluate requests concerning separately contracted client services
Manage comments and community participation
Understand readership and improve published material
Maintain, troubleshoot, and secure the Services
Detect fraud, abuse, or technical problems
Maintain records required for legal, tax, accounting, security, or dispute purposes
Enforce our Terms of Service
Protect SingleStack, our readers, or other people

Carry out another purpose disclosed when the information is collected
Act with your consent or at your direction

We do not use a public inquiry to create individualized legal, tax, accounting, financial-planning, investment, insurance, or other regulated professional advice.

5. How we disclose information

Service providers

We may disclose information to providers that help us operate the Services, including:

Carrd, which hosts robbiepoe.com and processes its contact form
Substack, which hosts and distributes the publication
Our business email provider
Website, network, security, and infrastructure providers
Google, when its web-font resources are requested
Providers assisting with data storage, backup, support, or business operations

These providers may process information as needed to provide their services and under their applicable agreements and privacy policies.

Professional advisers

We may disclose information to attorneys, accountants, insurers, security consultants, and other advisers when reasonably necessary to obtain advice, manage risk, or comply with legal obligations.

Information collected under a separate client engagement may be disclosed to professionals only as authorized by the client, required to perform the engagement, permitted by the applicable agreement, or required by law.

Legal and safety disclosures

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

Comply with a law, subpoena, court order, or legal process
Investigate fraud, abuse, or a security incident
Enforce an agreement
Protect the rights, property, or safety of SingleStack or another person

Business transactions

Information may be disclosed as part of a proposed or completed merger, sale, financing, reorganization, acquisition, or transfer of the business. A recipient will remain subject to applicable privacy obligations.

6. Sale, advertising, and compensation

SingleStack does not sell subscriber or contact information for money.

We do not use personal information under our control for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have not enabled publisher-selected advertising pixels on the Services.

SingleStack and Robbie Poe do not currently receive affiliate commissions, sponsorship compensation, or referral compensation for links or recommendations appearing in the publication.

Substack may process information for its own platform purposes under its Privacy Policy. Our statements in this section apply to information and practices controlled by SingleStack.

If these practices change, we will update this policy and provide any notice or choice required by law.

7. Cookies and tracking choices

Robbiepoe.com may use necessary browser storage, cookies, or similar technologies supplied by Carrd or infrastructure providers to operate, protect, and deliver the site.

Substack uses cookies and similar technologies for platform functionality, security, analytics, performance measurement, personalization, and other purposes described in the Substack Privacy Policy.

You can restrict many cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary technologies may prevent portions of the Services from functioning properly.

Robbiepoe.com does not currently respond to legacy browser “Do Not Track” signals because there is no uniform standard for interpreting them. Since SingleStack does not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, such a signal does not otherwise change our current practices.

If applicable law requires us to honor a legally recognized universal opt-out signal for a practice we control, we will honor that signal for the covered practice.

8. Newsletter choices

You may stop publication emails by using the unsubscribe link included in an email or changing your Substack settings.

We may retain a minimal suppression record after you unsubscribe so that we can continue honoring your request.

Unsubscribing from publication emails does not prevent limited administrative, security, legal, or direct-response communications concerning a request you initiated.

9. Privacy rights

Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have the right to:

Ask whether we process information about you
Access information we maintain about you
Correct inaccurate information
Request deletion
Obtain a portable copy of certain information
Opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling
Limit certain uses of sensitive information
Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent
Appeal the denial of a privacy request
Exercise applicable rights without unlawful discrimination

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where applicable law permits, subject to verification of the person concerned and the agent’s authority.

Some information may be retained or excluded from a request where permitted by law, including records needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, tax reporting, dispute resolution, or continued enforcement of an unsubscribe request.

10. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legitimate legal, accounting, security, and operational needs.

Our general retention criteria are:

Subscriber information is retained while a subscription remains active and for a reasonable period afterward.
A minimal suppression record may remain after an unsubscribe.
Contact-form and correspondence information is retained while we respond and for a reasonable recordkeeping or dispute period.
Comments may remain while the associated post or publication remains available unless removed.
Technical and engagement information is retained according to applicable platform settings and operational needs.
Legal, tax, accounting, and transaction records are retained for periods required or permitted by law.
Backup copies remain until overwritten through ordinary backup cycles.

Information collected under a separate client engagement may follow a different retention schedule established by the applicable client documents.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we maintain.

No website, platform, email system, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration will never occur.

If a security incident affects your information, we will provide notice when required by applicable law.

12. Children’s privacy

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Substack separately requires its users to be at least 16 years old under its current Terms of Use.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Services, contact support@robbiepoe.com so we can review the matter and, where appropriate, delete the information.

13. Public comments and third-party links

Information posted through comments or community features may be visible to other users. Do not post private, confidential, privileged, or sensitive information publicly.

The Services may link to websites, articles, tools, or professionals that SingleStack does not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

14. United States operation

SingleStack operates the Services from the United States and directs them to a United States audience.

The Services may still be accessible from other countries. Information may be processed in the United States or another country where Substack, Carrd, or another service provider operates.

If SingleStack intentionally expands into another jurisdiction requiring additional notices or protections, we will update our practices and documentation as appropriate.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Services, providers, or legal requirements change.

We will post the revised policy and update the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use previously collected information, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law.
